Jacqueline Ashmore

Executive Vice President of Engineering

Jacqueline Ashmore, PhD, is New Leaf Energy’s Executive Vice President of Engineering. She is a clean energy and sustainability expert with 15 years of experience in technology, business, and policy spheres. Prior to this role at New Leaf Energy and Borrego, she focused on engineering solar systems as the Engineering Program Manager at the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems. Her role included managing an $8 million U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative program to develop and prototype an innovative residential solar system that can be installed quickly and safely to reduce soft costs.

Jacqueline received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Oxford, UK, and her PhD from the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. She is actively involved in several nonprofits that work to increase diversity in the clean energy sector, including New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE).
