Notice of Public Comment Hearing: Ruthsburg Rd Solar 1, LLC

A public comment hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., at the Good Will Fire Company, 212 Broadway Road, Centreville, MD 21617, concerning Ruthsburg Rd Solar 1, LLC’s application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Maryland Public Service Commission. The hearing will include a presentation by the Applicant and Parties, followed by an opportunity for the public to provide comment.

 Written comments on the proposed Project may be submitted electronically through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us, or by first-class mail with the Commission’s Chief Clerk, Jamie Bergin, Maryland Public Service Commission, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202, and must reference Case No. 9764. Comment may be submitted by Monday, July 21, 2025. Pursuant to the Commission's March 13, 2020 Notice of Waiver and Relaxed Filing Requirements, no paper copies need be submitted if the filing is public in nature and no more than 25 pages in length. The Commission encourages parties to use the Commission’s “e-file” system for filing.
